Specific information about the website

When registering for our newsletter, you provide us with your email address and, on an optional basis, other information. We use these data solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. We retain the data that you disclose in your newsletter application until you cancel your subscription to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the newsletter intended for this purpose, or by sending us the appropriate notification.
We also use your email address, which we receive in connection with the sale of a product or service, exclusively for direct advertising in the form of our newsletter for products or services that we sell that are similar to the ones you ordered, provided that you have not objected to having your email used in this way. Your objection (and thus the cancellation of our newsletter) can be communicated by sending the appropriate message to our email address (see the Legal Notice).
Website Log Files
When you visit our websites, your browser transmits certain data to our web server for technical reasons. The following data are recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your internet browser and our web server:
- Date and time of your request
- Name of the requested file
- Page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Type and version of the browser and the operating system you use
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- Quantity of data transferred
For reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attacks on our web server, we store these data for a short period of time. It is impossible to discern the identity of individual persons based on this data. After a very short period of time, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish any reference to the individual user. The anonymized data will also be processed for statistical purposes. We don’t compare any data to data in other databases or forward them to third parties, even in excerpts.
Google Analytics (with IP-anonymization)
Based on our legitimate interests, i.e. our interest in optimizing and economic operation of our Website, we use the web analytics service Google Analytics of Google Inc. (“Google”). The web analytics service Google Analytics uses cookies. The data generated by these cookies about the use of our Website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Agreement and therefore guarantees compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov).
Google uses such data on our behalf to evaluate the use of our Website by our users, to compile reports on the activities on this Website and to provide us with further services related to the use of this Website. The processed data can be used to generate pseudonymous usage profiles.
We use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the users’ IP address is shortened by Google within the States that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases only.
The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other data provided by Google. Users may prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; in addition, users may also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and its transfer to Google as well as the processing of such data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
For more information about data processing by Google, settings and options to object, please visit the websites of Google at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ or http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html.
PostHog Analytics
(1) INNOSPOT uses the PostHog analysis service to analyze and check the use of this website and our software. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you and your users. The PostHog program is an open source project.
(2) INNOSPOT operates PostHog in a version that does not require cookies. No PostHog cookies are stored on the user’s computer for web analysis purposes. The IP address and information such as time stamp, clicks and your language settings are recorded for the analysis of software use. The information collected in this way is stored on a server in Frankfurt, Germany. Data transfer to the USA is only possible in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR.
(3) INNOSPOT uses PostHog with the extension “AnonymizeIP”. As a result, IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form and direct personal reference is excluded. The IP address transmitted by your browser using PostHog and used for transport will not be merged with other data collected by us. The legal basis for using PostHog is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f GDPR.

AdWords & Remarketing-Services Google
Based on our legitimate interests, i.e. our interest in the analysis and optimisation of our website within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1(f) GDPR, we use the remarketing services (“Google Remarketing Services”) of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
Remarketing is when a user is shown ads for products or other services that he or she is interested in on other websites. Ideally, users will only be presented with ads that match their potential interests. The Google Remarketing Services allow us to technically implement this and to display advertisements for our website or products and services on other websites in a more targeted manner.
User data is processed pseudonymously within the framework of Google Remarketing Services. This means that Google does not process personal data such as usernames or e-mail addresses, but only cookie-related data within pseudonymous user profiles. In this respect, from Google’s point of view, the data is not administered and displayed for a specifically identified person, but only for the device on which the respective cookies are stored. If a user has expressly permitted Google to process the data without pseudonymisation, the above shall not apply. The collected data will then be transmitted to Google and stored on Google servers in the USA.
We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” for remarketing. Here, a dedicated “conversion cookie” is set for every Google AdWords customer, including us. The information collected with the help of this cookie is used to create conversion statistics for us as AdWords customers. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on our ads and were directed to our page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any personally identifiable information.
The data subject concerned can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time, as described above, by means of an appropriate setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent Google from setting a conversion cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, a cookie already set by Google AdWords can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs.
Furthermore, the data subject concerned may object to the interest-related advertising by Google. To do this, the data subject must access the link www.google.de/settings/ads from any of the Internet browsers he or she uses and make the desired settings there.
Further information on data processing by Google, on the settings and opposition possibilities can be found on Google websites under: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
Google Tag Manager
This website uses the Google Tag Manager. Through this service, website tags can be managed through an interface. The Google Tool Manager only implements tags. This means that no cookies are used and no personal data is collected. The Google Tool Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at domain or cookie level, it remains in place for all tracking tags, insofar as these are implemented with the Google Tag Manager.
Youtube
The controller has integrated YouTube components on this website. YouTube is an Internet video portal that allows video publishers to post video clips free of charge and other users to view, rate and comment on them, also free of charge. By each call of one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically caused by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube. Further information on YouTube can be found at https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/de/. Within the scope of this technical procedure, YouTube and Google receive knowledge of which specific sub-page of our website is visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognizes which specific sub-page of our website the data subject is visiting by calling up a sub-page that contains a YouTube video. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject.
YouTube and Google always receive information via the YouTube component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is simultaneously logged into YouTube at the time of calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her YouTube account before accessing our website.

The operating company of the Instagram services is Instagram LLC, 1 Hacker Way, Building 14 First Floor, Menlo Park, CA, USA.
Each time one of the individual pages of this website operated by the controller is called up and on which an Instagram component (Insta button) has been integrated, the internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically caused by the respective Instagram component to download a representation of the corresponding component from Instagram. Within the scope of this technical procedure, Instagram receives knowledge about which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged in to Instagram at the same time, Instagram recognizes which specific sub-page the data subject is visiting each time the data subject calls up our website and for the entire duration of the respective stay on our website. This information is collected by the Instagram component and assigned by Instagram to the respective Instagram account of the data subject. If the data subject activates one of the Instagram buttons integrated on our website, the data and information thus transmitted will be assigned to the personal Instagram user account of the data subject and stored and processed by Instagram.
Instagram always receives information via the Instagram component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is simultaneously logged into Instagram at the time of calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the Instagram component or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to Instagram, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her Instagram account before accessing our website.

Further information on LinkedIn plug-ins can be found at https://developer.linkedin.com/plugins. As part of this technical procedure, LinkedIn receives knowledge of which specific sub-page of our website is visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged in to LinkedIn at the same time, LinkedIn recognizes which specific sub-page of our website the data subject is visiting with each call-up of our website by the data subject and for the entire duration of the respective stay on our website. This information is collected by the LinkedIn component and assigned by LinkedIn to the respective LinkedIn account of the data subject. If the data subject activates a LinkedIn button integrated on our website, LinkedIn assigns this information to the personal LinkedIn user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.
